Friday Fun Days Editions of The Weekender are meant to be unpredictable. You’ve got to have something to look forward to all week, right? And it can’t be something that makes your brain hurt. Especially if you have to work over the weekend. So we’ll keep it light, fun, and exciting.
These Are a Few of My Favorite Things…
I got this with the idea that it would make the perfect beach bag. And discovered that it also makes an amazing travel bag as well. This bag can hold some gear! I have it in Natural w/Turquoise, but they’ve released a new color: Turquoise Straw Stripe. Now I’m in a dilemma. Do I stick to my goal of only having one purse per season? Or do I fall for this newest addition? Hmmm…
My Dad recently gifted this too me. He claims it was a lucky guess. But oh-my-goodness it is amazing. The pictures alone will have you drooling if you aren’t too careful. And so far every. single. recipe. Has been so delicious. (Take a peek at Instagram to see what I had for breakfast!)

Neat Stuff from Around the Interwebs This Week
This one is so neat! I almost became a marine biologist once. Okay, I mean I almost went to college to study marine biology. Not being able to swim deterred me somehow. If you have ever, ever become a parent, I believe this sweet, tear-jerking song celebrating the birth of Peter Hollens’ son will resonate. But be warned – it will make you cry. In a happy way.
This is a challenge to practice one skill you want to learn or get better at. You practice just 15 minutes a day. So easy, right? I’ve been wanting to learn to code for a long time now. I used to know some, back in high school. But that was…a long time ago. I’m looking forward to this “easy” challenge!
That’s all for today – Happy Weekend, ya’ll!
