I had thought, at the beginning of this year, that I wanted to share monthly goal updates. But I have decided that I will mention progress in passing, as it relates to various posts that I write, but not as a specific monthly update. Upon thinking on it further, I noted that I was able to see my progress best when I did a year-end review with my Powersheets. (Powersheets are not necessary for goals or a year-end review, just what I use for both.) What you will get instead is a monthly update on where I am with the 2018 Christian Reading Challenge. That post will come on Monday, and generally during the first of the month.
As for my goals: I’m making progress. Not all at once, not always how I originally envisioned, not all at once, but progress nevertheless. That’s the lovely thing about plugging away faithfully at prayerfully set goals. You keep working at them and find that, at the end of the year, you made progress in your stewardship of those areas. I intend to do so every year as the Spirit leads, “pressing toward the mark,” looking forward to “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” What rest that will be!
